GATE 2013 Application Status


After an applicant submits an online application the application goes through the following states

1. Online Application Submitted:
The application was received.  A copy of the application form (in PDF) must be downloaded.

2. Application Received and Under Scrutiny:
The Zonal GATE office has received the posted hard copy.  In case an application has been sent but not received for more than 10 days, please check the Speed Post website for the tracking the consignment.

3. Application Accepted:
The application has been scrutinized and found to be eligible to take the GATE 2013 examination.  The candidate has to wait till 5 Dec 2012 when the Admit Card will be available for download.

4. Rectification Required:
The application is incomplete or defective. Read the instructions given and take actions accordingly. The response must reach the Zonal office within 10 days of receipt of the mail from GATE office or November 5 which ever is earlier.

5. Provisionally Accepted:
The application has been provisionally accepted, subject to additional documents to be submitted.  Admit card for GATE 2013 will be issued, but the candidate must bring a copy of the document mentioned or a Demand Draft for Rs.600, in favour of “Chairman GATE 2013″ to the examination center; otherwise the Score Card will not be issued.

When I will receive admit card?

Admit card can only be downloaded from the GATE Online Applicant Interface from 5th December 2012. Sending Admit cards by post has been discontinued.

Note:  For Examination bring downloaded admit card along with at least one original (not photocopied / scanned copy) and valid (not expired) photo identification.

PGEC/PGECET 2012 Allotments at 6:00 p.m.



Allotment for PGEC/PGECET 2012 will be released on 22nd November 2012 at 6:00 p.m.


Candidates can download allotment order through entering their hall ticket, date of birth etc on the official website http://pgecet.apsche.ac.in/rankallotform.php. Candidates have to report in the allotted college as per the instructions published on the allotment order.

Candidates can download allotment order through entering their hall ticket, date of birth etc on the official website http://pgecet.apsche.ac.in/rankallotform.php. Candidates have to report in the allotted college as per the instructions published on the allotment order.

PGEC/PGECET – 2012 Admissions (PROCEDURE TO EXCERCISE OPTIONS)

Open the Website http://pgecet.apsche.ac.in/


Click on Web Counselling. Then on Web Option.


Read the Instruction carefully and then click "I Understood" button.


Enter the details as shown in the option form and click on Submit button

Hall Ticket: It should be PGECT Hall ticket and for GATE student it is registration number (Registration Number is not GATE Hall ticket Number)

Option form will be displayed as shown below with colleges on the left side. This window displays all the eligible colleges based on gender and specialization.

Select the college on left window and click on “Add” to add to the right side window as option number one. Then next one will be added as second option and so on. The priority of options is displayed on the right side window. You can modify the priority of options by clicking on the Modify button. Select an option, drag it to the required place and drop. Automatically the option will be moved to the new location and the priority numbers will be renumbered. (OR) Select the option and press the UP/DOWN arrow buttons present in between the tables to move up/down one level.

Select an option and Click the “Delete” button, then the option will be deleted from the selected list.

After satisfying with the selected list of colleges and their priorities, click on “Save” button.



Enter the Scratch card password through the virtual Key Board and Mobile number through Normal Keyboard as shown in the below screen then click “Confirm” button, to save the selected options in the Server for processing, and the saved options will be displayed in printed format


If the candidate is not interested to change the options any more, then Freeze button is to be clicked. If the options are frozen, they cannot be changed. However, they can defree by sending SMS (For Defreeze details click here)to modify the Frozen options, the candidates may approach the help line center.


Take a print and verify thoroughly the colleges and their priority.

PGEC/PGECET Defreeze Option Procedure


New colleges and Courses are added on 15-11-2012. Interested candidates can exercise options on 17th and 18th Nov


For defreeze, send SMS from registered mobile PG followed by Registration No / Hall ticket No to 8082111100.

Example:

If your Registration No (for GATE) / Hall ticket No (for PGECET) is 222222 then to defreeze you should send SMS as

PG 222222

And then send it to 8082111100.
